My entry for Ludum Dare 38.

Start by selecting the planets you want to play with. I recommended at least 3 to keep it interesting. Once you click on the start button, move your paddle to protect your bricks and score zone. Planets are scored when they pass through the opposite score zone.

Some interesting planet combos to try:

Earth + Saturn - A 2 planet combo I enjoyed, reasonable pace.

Mercury + Mars- Fast paced for a 2 planet game.

Mercury + Earth + Jupiter - A good balanced game, with the speed differences and missiles keeping things interesting.

Mercury + Uranus+ Neptune - Lots of speed, and Neptune really hurts defense!

Earth+Mars+Neptune- The painful abilities stack up.

Mercury+Venus+Earth+Mars - Rocky planets bounce of each other, and can get hectic and unpredictable. Try a zone defense.

Jupiter-Saturn-Uranus-Neptune - Gas planets pass through each other, letting you track them easier; but watch out for Neptune's stun!

Mercury + Venus+Jupiter +Saturn + Uranus - Five planets, but the no special abilities to deal with.

Everything except Neptune and Pluto - Chaotic without the silliness when Neptune stuns you.

The 8 "real" planets - VERY CHAOTIC!

All 9 planets - Pluto is tired of being bullied. It does appreciate you considering it a planet though!
